Shouta Aoi (蒼井 翔太 Aoi Shouta) (formerly known as a singer named SHOWTA.) is a Japanese singer-songwriter and voice actor born in Fukui, Japan. He is affiliated to S inc as a seiyuu, and now, King Records as a singer, with Broccoli as his previous company. He has been a seiyuu since 2010.
He voices Mikaze Ai in the Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ series, which has also made him popular. Before debuting as an Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ series' Voice Actor, he collaborated on some works with Elements Garden (Especially with Nakayama Masato in anime Kimi to Boku). He even did a backing vocal for Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love 1000%'s character songs such as : Ittoki Otoya's 'BRAND NEW MELODY', Jinguuji Ren's 'Dear.. Burning my Lady!', Aijima Cecil's 'Eternity Love', and Ichinose Tokiya's 'Seven-Colored Compass (七色のコンパス)' in 2011.
His voice is very feminine, which he used to have a complex about, but he got used to it because people like his unique voice. His voice has been marked as an "Angel's Voice".
